I would like to give you my comments on your haylage. I own Zara (show name Miss Vincent) a 24 year old 16.1hh Irish Thoroughbred liver chestnut mare I have had her since she was 7. Zara has an allergy to hay and straw so she has to be fed haylage. She is kept on full livery at Chilham Park. After being fed haylage from different companies I noticed that Zara would get quite a bit lively and she would lose weight especially during the winter months. It was suggested by Ali Ferry at Chilham Park to try Kent Haylage Company as they were sponsors of Chilham Events and that they produced their own haylage.
After speaking to Steve and ordering 50 bales at a time, Zara has now been on Kent Haylage co haylage for 4 years now and the change in her is amazing. Not only has she calmed down but her weight gain has been consistent all year round.
As you can see attached (Below) are 2 photos of Zara who qualified for the Sunshine Tour at Hickstead. The photos are of her competing in the Championships on the 20th September 2015. I think looking at these pictures are proof enough of how well she looks at the grand age of 24 years old and still going strong.
Zara will always be fed on haylage from Kent Haylage company. I would like to thank Steve and Alison for the brilliant service of delivering my haylage to Chilham and especially how quick the delivery arrives from the day of ordering.
